What you think will be.

TRICIA HAMACHAI, Associate AIA

As a child, Tricia explored Los Angeles’ neighborhoods with her mother. As she grew, she noticed that the use of space has a profound effect on the human experience. In all aspects of her life, she cultivates the idea that problems are solved through observation, introspection, and innovation. She has been with KFA since 2004, and has a passion for breathing new life into old buildings. Her first project, the Title Guarantee Building in downtown Los Angeles, involved the adaptive reuse of a 12 story 1930 office building as high-end residential lofts. Outside of KFA, Tricia volunteers at the San Luis Obispo Food Bank and with her pet therapy certified great dane at senior living facilities. She is also on the board of directors for Habitat for Humanity San Luis Obispo. Tricia loves yoga, is interested in design thinking education for pre-K through college, and is always a great cheerleader for her kids.
