Adjacent to the Hannon Ardolf Science Building, the Information Commons at Loyola High School reflects a transition in teaching methods and learning styles.  The traditional academic library has transformed to a collaborative environment with a variety of spaces conducive to study alone, in small groups, and within a full class.   Additionally, the Commons supports visits of any duration, from a five-minute team meeting, to a free period group study session, to thorough exam preparation.  The design of the Commons has the sophistication and professionalism of a collegiate library, driven by an emphasis on modern styles of learning, technology, and collaboration.
