The design concept was based on creating a boutique hotel atmosphere in a mid-sized apartment by creating a series of intimate spaces, each with their own character. This was achieved by designing an I-shape building which allowed for an interweaving of interior, semi-outdoor, and exterior spaces finished with sleek materials and accented by plants and lighting elements.  The large portal at the front the building breaks the orderly white tiled facade to allow for a glimpse inside of the glass tile elevator tower, setting the tone for the rest of the building components.

Amenities include two landscaped courtyards with a fireplace, BBQ area, and intimate seating pockets, bike parking room and workspace, pet spa, resident lounge with flat panel TVs and kitchen, and a double height lobby space.

The building is located within a 1/4 mile from the future Wilshire/Fairfax stop on the metro Purple Line Extension. Both long-term and short-term bike parking is provided for residents and guests. The project incorporates drought tolerant landscaping, locally sourced building materials, high efficiency, Energy Star appliances, and low flow fixtures to moderate on-site water consumption.
