Riding the metro to school in the nation’s capital, flipping through antique maps with her grandfather, and construction of the Death Star at an early age (on time/on budget) gave Lise an enthusiasm for cities and urban design that has been a motivational force along her journey. After attending NCSU, Lise moved to LA in 1997 via Baltimore and a brief stop in Berlin, landing at SCI-Arc where she received her M-Arch. Since joining KFA in 2001, she has participated in the densification of this large and complex city.
Lise serves on the board for Step Up on Second and the board for the Association for Women in Architecture Foundation as the Scholarships Chair. She volunteers with a local animal shelter and community reading program for kids. Coffee and a good story are always welcome.
