Wade | Killefer, FAIA

As partner in charge of design, Wade is responsible for developing design concepts and then following through to make sure that the client’s goals are met at every stage of the design process. He started the firm in 1975 and it has been his only job since he quit framing houses to go to architecture school.

Wade was born in San Francisco, grew up in Washington D.C., received his B.A. in English from Stanford and his graduate architecture degree at UCLA. He has been active on many non-profit boards, chases quail in Mexico and trout in the Sequoia. In 2006, Wade was elected to the College of Fellows by the American Institute of Architects and in 2009 to the UCLA Rugby Hall of Fame.
