BEYOND THE STATS

  • This seven-story, mixed-use development adjacent to the Carthay Square neighborhood of Mid-City Los Angeles, will rise on the site of a demolished, former shopping center in an area that is adding several new, mixed-use apartment buildings. The project includes 13 units of affordable, and 4,200 SF of ground-floor retail for shops and neighborhood cafes with outdoor seating, as well as underground parking.
  • Two residential courtyards located on the 2nd floor feature a pool, barbecue and dining area, and seating area around a decorative fire element. These large, light filled courtyards allow for a soft green edge facing the rear neighbors.
  • On the 7th floor, multiple roof decks provide a variety of additional gathering areas for residents. The larger roof decks are thoughtfully portioned into smaller spaces with a multitude of planters to provide color and texture to the spaces, while also providing a green buffer between the edge of the building and the neighborhood beyond.
