ERICK REYES

Erick was originally born in Monterey Park, but grew up in Downey. He initially wanted to be a painter until he realized there is more actual meaningful community impact in architecture through detailed drawings than in abstract canvases. He began to see how buildings effected the people around him and the surrounding communities. Erick believes that architecture can help people, which inspired him to pursue architecture as a career. He started his architectural studies at East Los Angeles Community College and ended up earning a Bachelor of Architecture degree from USC. Erick brings a passion for affordable housing projects to the KFA team. In his free time, he enjoys watching movies, reading science fiction novels, sketching, and painting.
