AZUSA KOTSU

Azusa’s pursuit of design formed in Japan, where she developed an early appreciation for intricate craftsmanship found in everyday objects and spaces. Her architectural journey led her to the United States for her university degrees, seamlessly blending design sensibilities.

She applies this perspective into a wide array of projects, from large-scale mixed-use developments and cultural institutions like museums and theaters, to multi-family housing. Her dedication lies in creating spaces that are both thoughtfully designed in form and functional, fostering environments where communities can thrive. Outside of work, she embraces the tranquility of the way of tea and exhilaration exploring winding mountain roads and snow trails.
