KFA is pleased to announce the promotion of Tarrah Beebe, AIA to Senior Associate and Dganit Shtorch, AIA to Associate. Both Tarrah and Dganit have been with the firm for more than a decade and have played vital roles in the firm’s commitment to project management, client service, and focus on reshaping Los Angeles. “We are pleased to have Tarrah and Dganit as members of our team and to recognize their professional accomplishments and growth with the firm. They have contributed to our work through design excellence, creativity, industry leadership, and creating valuable client relationships,” said KFA Partner Barbara Flammang, AIA.

Tarrah Beebe, AIA, Senior Associate
Tarrah’s portfolio includes a diverse group of projects in both new and existing buildings throughout Los Angeles. Tarrah enjoys collaborating with clients, consultants, and colleagues, both inside and outside of the office. Tarrah’s first projects included the Arts Village at Westerly School of Long Beach along with projects at USC, Loyola High School, and Mayfield Senior School in Pasadena. She began to leave her mark on the neighborhood she calls home with a mixed-use renovation for Michael Antonio on 7th Street, and later managed the adaptive reuse of the Commercial Exchange Building into the recently opened Freehand LA Hotel. As project manager she also oversaw the renovation of the Taft Building at the historic corner of Hollywood and Vine. Tarrah is currently working on the Llewellyn Apartments, a residential project in Chinatown and is managing the hotel component of Ivy Station, the TOC mixed use campus in Culver City. A mentor and a leader, Tarrah played a critical role in the development and implementation of KFA’s Revit standards. She has taught classes at USC and has been a club volleyball coach for eight years. You can also find Tarrah at the center of KFA’s social events cheerfully serving as host, planner, and emcee, often decked out in a well-coordinated and themed costume.

Dganit Shtorch, AIA, Associate
With almost two decades of architectural experience, Dganit is a knowledgeable source for historic preservation and adaptive reuse projects. Her strengths as a project manager and as an architect lie in her exceptional organizational skills, her attention to detail, and her excellent relationships with clients, consultants and building officials. She is proficient at presenting alternatives for code compliance and creating solutions with plan checkers. Some of Dganit’s notable projects include the adaptive reuse of Broadway Hollywood, the Chapman Building, Ace Hotel, Pegasus, and Immanuel Place, as well as the new construction of Broadwood Terrace and Paloma Terrace. Prior to joining KFA, Dganit served as an Associate Preservation Architect for the City of Los Angeles’ Office of Historic Resources, where she reviewed applications for alterations to Cultural Heritage Monuments in accordance with the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards. Currently, she serves on two HPOZ Boards – Hancock Park and Spaulding Square. She is also responsible for the firm’s participation in the annual Malibu Triathlon with nine KFA teams competing in last year’s race.
