Keri became interested in architecture while studying anthropology as an under-grad and reading case studies about culture’s impact on its built environment. At the same time, a friend gifted her a copy of the Hanover Principles and that led her to graduate studies at University of Virginia’s Sustainable Design-focused Architecture School. She dreamed of living in Los Angeles while developing thesis work that investigated a series of relationships between LA’s storytelling tradition and place-making.
