Peter Trettl, AIA

Peter was raised by a family of makers and learned early to solve technical problems elegantly with rigor and craftsmanship. Through his hands-on education at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, Peter became committed to creating joyful spaces and positive experiences for people around him through the built environment.  Throughout his career, he has executed residential projects at a variety of scales, from single-family renovations to multi-100-unit market-rate and affordable apartment projects. Fueled by challenge, he is unrelentingly attentive to detail, works effectively within and around strict constraints, and builds strong relationships with the project team and with the client. These values of grit, craft and service carry over to his personal pursuits, as a private chef and event organizer. Peter believes that beautiful spaces and high quality food are key elements of the human experience, and when combined, can foster connection, joy and community bonds.
