ROBERT GROSS, AIA
Robert grew up in New York and knew by the age of 5 that he wanted to be an architect. He loved drawing, building models, and dioramas, as well as enjoyed math and science. The combination of all these interests lead him to a career in architecture. He began studying architecture in high school, and went on to continue his studies at Tulane University where he earned a bachelors and masters degree in architecture. Over the past 32 years of his career, Robert has designed and worked on almost every project typology except airports. He brings a wide range of project experience to the KFA team including high-rise buildings, educational facilities and dormitories, hospitals and medical buildings, hotels, private homes, multifamily and townhome developments, parking structures, heliports and marina, commercial buildings, malls and retail, and commercial office buildings. He has worked on television and sound studios, as well as many historic, landmark buildings, and conversions. Robert is a family man who enjoys making new friends, studying topics of interest, visiting art galleries, and attending live music concerts.
