Rodrigo Zaya Circle Headshot

To surrender dreams ‒ this may be madness. Too much sanity may be madness ‒ and maddest of all: to see life as it is, and not as it should be!
– Miguel de Cervantes

Rodrigo Zayas, AIA

Born and raised in Mexico City to an engineer father and an artist mother, Rodrigo grew up having a deep passion for design because of its practical applications to meet aspiring artistry. After high school, he found a new home base in Los Angeles, where he earned his BFA in Architecture from Otis College of Art and Design. Immediately following graduation, Rodrigo began his career at a boutique architectural firm in DTLA where he worked on multifamily and adaptive reuse projects. Having spent his entire life living in large metropolitan environments sparked his interest in the underlying and many unknown forces that make up the urban fabric surround us.
