Steven Berger Circle Headshot

Architecture is art when one consciously or unconsciously creates aesthetic emotion in the atmosphere and when this environment produces well being.
– Luis Barragan

STEVEN BERGER

Steven is from a small Western Pennsylvania steel town, where the soaring glass, steel and masonry canyons of New York that were constructed from it, the ideals and history of New England, and the quiet frozen-in-time waterman communities of the DelMarVa peninsula. It was in these places that he fell in love with the ability of our built environment to heal, elevate, reflect upon, and center the human spirit. In doing so, the projects that Steven has seen to completion include medical facilities for both young and old, religious centers, residential – both multifamily mixed use and single family, as well as a civic art installation. He brings a passion for regional placemaking and the making of space to KFA and Los Angeles, and revels in capturing the essence of our craft with photography.
