Yosh Lin Circle Headshot

What is it in the human condition that tries to impose our own view onto others, without the ability, capacity, propensity, to receive somebody else’s openly?
— Wim Wenders, Inventing Peace:
A Dialogue on Perception

Yu-Hsuan "Yosh" Lin

Yosh’s love for cities began when she studied architecture at National Cheung Kung University in the old capital of Taiwan, where she explored the tiny streets by riding a Vespa and sipping tea. After earning her Bachelor of Architecture degree, she was lured to New York City by the dramatic sky exposure planes and an interest in the City’s privately owned public spaces. While in New York, Yosh graduated from Columbia University with a Master of Architecture degree. Now living in Southern California, she finds LA to have the right amount of excitement, contradictions, and opportunities for her to explore. Yosh believes that housing is fundamental to architecture, and she is dedicated to working with KFA’s clients in bringing new housing to our local communities. On the weekends, you can find her riding the bus or aligning books at Stories bookstore. Also, she will be glad to engage with you in a conversation about how zoning shapes a city or about what to put in your next pot of broth.
