YVONNE YAO

Yvonne joined KFA in 2000 and has been working on projects which include low-income housing, adaptive re-use, and market-rate residences. She grew up in New York City and loved taking long walks down the avenues, while people-watching and building-watching. Upon completing her graduate studies, she moved west for a change of scenery. After a few years in LA, she moved to Hong Kong where she worked on the interior fit-out for the Hong Kong International Airport. She then followed her husband to France and enrolled as a student at the Université Catholique de l’Ouest, where she had the pleasure of studying about French artists in their native language. While she and her husband still love to travel, they are also busy raising their teenage daughters.
