AIA|LA Office Courtyard

BEYOND THE STATS

 

• KFA Land Images collaborated with AIA|LA and the design team to transform the courtyard of their new offices in a renovated 1927 Neo-Classical bank building in the historic West Adams district.
• Designed to support outdoor meetings, exhibitions, and community gatherings, the courtyard provides a flexible space for AIA|LA and its nonprofit partner, Architecture for Communities Los Angeles (ACLA).
• The project emphasized sustainable design by reusing and enhancing the existing paving with improved drainage and incorporating a drip irrigation system.
• The landscaping features California native plants, ensuring a low-maintenance, water-efficient environment that complements the historic context.
