- Located at 1355 Avalon Boulevard in Wilmington, the Las Palmas Apartments is a permanent supportive housing project designed to provide stability and services for individuals who have experienced homelessness.
- The development includes the adaptive reuse of a 1950s Safeway grocery store, retaining its distinctive Googie facade, and a new four-story residential building on an adjacent lot.
- The project offers 54 units, including studios and one-bedroom apartments, along with on-site case management offices, a community room, and shared courtyards.
- Key design elements include raised floors to enhance privacy, an open-air central courtyard for light and ventilation, and landscaped shared spaces.
- This project was made possible with funding through the Measure HHH Challenge Program and is a collaborative effort between Brilliant Corners and The Richman Group.
- Situated near public transit, Las Palmas Apartments provides residents with easy access to essential services and community resources.
