BEYOND THE STATS
- Lamp Lodge is a new apartment complex providing permanent supportive housing for individuals experiencing chronic homelessness.
- The seven-story, 82-unit affordable apartment community is located near the Flower District in Downtown Los Angeles.
- The project replaces the previous Lamp Lodge building and brings new vibrancy and life to the neighborhood with a fresher, brighter facade.
- KFA designed a graphic tree mural that wraps around the side of the building which reappears as a large metal screen of laser cut trees located at the ground floor.
- Emphasizing outdoor community space and gardens to create a holistic environment, the design includes a laundry room, community kitchen space, bicycle parking and offices for supportive services.
