BEYOND THE STATS

  • A landmark in the downtown historic corridor, the Pacific Electric Building was built by Henry Huntington in 1905 as the central terminal for the Los Angeles Red Car system and as the headquarters for the exclusive Jonathan Club. The building is on the National Register of Historic Places and is distinguished by its Beaux Arts design, yellow brick masonry, and arched Romanesque windows in an oversized terra cotta cornice.
  • The transformation of the nine-story building includes large penthouse units with original exposed steel trusses, a gym, roof-top pool and garden. The rotunda library offers residents a unique and comfortable place to gather and socialize.
