BEYOND THE STATS
- Developed in partnership with Affordable Living for the Aging (ALA), Rampart Mint provides permanent supportive housing for homeless individuals with disabilities who earn less than 30% of the area median income. Eleven units are reserved for chronically homeless individuals, and ten units are reserved for homeless individuals with a HIV/AIDS diagnosis.
- This project transforms a blighted parcel – a dilapidated and uninhabitable single-family residence vacant for almost 30 years – into new homes for this underserved population.
- The wood framed constructed building includes a front entryway lobby with seating and a rooftop deck. The building’s amenities include a spacious community room with kitchen, a computer lab, laundry facilities, and an office space for social services. The community room opens onto a rooftop deck offering residents views of the city, tables and chairs for entertaining, and a community garden.
