• The Micropolitan at Larchmont Village is an urban lifestyle, residential development. This market-rate development is in a quiet neighborhood, but near popular entertainment and retail areas. The key for this project was to fit the site and complement the existing neighborhood, which is primarily residential with low to medium density.
• The 32,726-sq.ft., three-story structure features 34 studio-, one-, and two-bedroom apartments and amenities such as a rooftop deck, outdoor lounge, and a pet spa. Other amenities include a professionally decorated community room with a kitchen, secure parking, and bicycle storage. Details that add to the appeal are open floor plans, spacious balconies, walk-in closets, and contemporary finishes.
• This type of urban infill in a highly walkable area is essential to smart growth. The design of the building has the character of a large upscale single-family home, reflecting the scale of its surroundings and market preferences for the area. The building strove to reflect an urban lifestyle with livable units, contemporary design, upscale interiors, and a convivial amenity package. The final design includes details such as plank guardrails, deep eaves, intimate exterior spaces, and broad massing.
