Second Phase of PATH Metro Villas Takes Shape

The second and final phase of the PATH Metro Villas supportive housing complex continues to take shape in Rampart Village.

The project, located just north of Beverly Boulevard between Madison and Westmoreland Avenues, consists of three six-story buildings attached to an existing facility operated by PATH.  The current construction will yield 122 apartments for low-income and homeless persons, in addition to on-site supportive services and amenities.

KFA Architecture designed the project, which incorporates community amenities such as a central “town sqaure,” community rooms, and rooftop decks.

The first phase of the development – the David T.C. Ho Family Building – made its debut in March 2019.  It features 65 studio, one-, and two-bedroom apartments – all of which are occupied by formerly homeless persons.

The Metro Villas, a joint venture between PATH and Affirmed Housing, is funded through a variety of sources – including Measure HHH.  PATH and

Independently, Affirmed Housing and PATH are developing several additional projects in the Los Angeles area, including new supportive housing in Westlake, East Hollywood, and South Gate.

The Metro Villas are located a short distance east of Metro’s Vermont/Beverly subway station, and across the street from the future site of Enlightenment Plaza, another proposed supportive housing complex.
