BEYOND THE STATS

• Design Architects: Leong Leong and KFA; Executive Architect: KFA
• The Los Angeles LGBT Center Anita May Rosenstein Campus serves as the new administrative headquarters for the Center, and includes new senior and youth centers, transitional aged youth housing and 2 levels of subterranean parking. Affordable senior housing and supportive housing for youth are located in 2 separate buildings adjacent to the administrative headquarters.
• The design reinforces the mosaic of services and programs that will be offered at the campus. The program components are knit together through a series of interior and exterior courtyards and plazas. Bold glass forms unfold at the corner of Santa Monica and McCadden, creating an open and confident architecture that is a symbol of pride for not only the LGBT community but for the greater community of Los Angeles.
• The Center has been part of the Los Angeles community since 1969, caring for, championing, and celebrating individuals and families in Southern California and beyond. Today the Center serves more people in the LGBT community than any other organization in the world, offering programs, services and global advocacy in health, social services and housing, culture and education, leadership and advocacy.
