Los Angeles, CA Downtown Los Angeles Arts District
- Client : Concerto Development, LLC
- Cost : $5.9M
- Size : 82,300 SF / 19 units
- Completion Date : 2007
BEYOND THE STATS
- 2121 Lofts inhabits a cluster of early 1900’s warehouses near the LA River at 7th Place and Santa Fe Street in the Downtown LA Arts District. A large open air-courtyard, created by peeling back selected areas of the central warehouse roof, establishes a pedestrian street that weaves through the project.
- The large loft units feature full height glazing and and skylit lightwells, carved from the roof through the second floor to bring light to the ground level. All of the open-plan units have double-height living spaces and private patios; residents enjoy several courtyards spread throughout the community, linked by landscaped paths, a BBQ/spa area and herb garden.

CicLAvia
Inspired by a similar weekly event in Colombia, CicLAvia brings hundreds of thousands of cyclists to vehicle-free streets for an afternoon of carbon footprint remission.
